So D&L Airgun is out of stock until late spring.:(
Anyone know where else one could find a new HW30 in .177?
I haven't been able to find other Cdn vendors out there.
 
OP...if you're in the market for a PAL rated .177 in the $350 price range you may want to consider a Walther Terrus with wood stock.
Airgun Source Peterborough shows them ready to ship (if you can't wait for the HW)
 
If you do find anyone in Canada with stock, please let me know as well. I have found a place in Germany that seems more than happy to ship to Canada and the prices are less than the Canadian dealer, but I'm just not confident it will make it through Canada Customs / RCMP without any issues. Their price on the HW50 is around $260 CAD, the HW30 is $230 CAD plus shipping as they remove their 19% VAT. I want the HW77 laminate but I don't have my PAL and can't get a confident answer from the Canada Customs firearm person I spoke with.
 
Darn, no HW30 in Canada. I've been looking to no avail.
Thanks for the alternative suggestion on the Walter Terrus, but I was leaning more towards the HW30. Compact size of HW30 would be good for my wife.
DL Airgun said they may get some in the fall.:(
I'm surprised there are no other dealers in Canada.

Who is willing to ship from Germany? There they need an export license , I haven't found any individual or dealer willing to do that.
 
I have had an HW30 for for close to 35 years... really nice little rifle... about 650 f/s depending on pellet weight.

The Krale tip is also good. Thanks. I did email them yesterday to enquire about both an HW97 for myself, and HW30 for the wife.
The HW30 may be better (supposedly more compact stock than Diana 24) for my small stature wife. The trigger is also supposed to be quite good on the HW30...however, since I'm paying for wifey's, the Diana 24 is half the price. Tempting to go with the Diana 24 and funnel those savings towards the HW97!
I'll update as progress is made.:)
 
I have a 24C .177 from the CAG Forum Store. It's compact and short stroke. It has the PAL spring in it doing 590 fps, ordered seperate. I really enjoy that rifle. It shoots ragged holes at 18 yards benched. Dropped a squirrel in it's tracks with a head shot at that distance. That may not be a Rekord trigger but it's not overly stiff either. And I do have an HW 97 here to compare. I say go for the 24C while they last, they're discontinued.
