I just purchased a Weihrauch from Epps, it won't get here for a week or two. The rifle in question is a very simple little single shot, sporter weight 22lr. What I would consider a "boys rifle", similar to the Anschutz flobert, Husqvarna 165, etc. I have never seen or heard of these rifles before so I'm just wondering if anyone has any information? Anyone else own one, if so, what are your thoughts? Anyone know production dates on these? 50's, 60's, 70's? I did a search, but can't find anything on them, not even a model number. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Can you post details from the advertisement? That way we can figure out a model number from the description. Note that some older, smaller .22cal rifles in Germany WERE intended for use by younger people, particularly boys, and were called Knabenbuchsen to prove it - 'boys' rifles'. Weihrauch are a well-regarded and very old gun-maker of the old style, although their modern range of air rifles are THE go-to for a large number of people in that part of shooting sport. Actual firearms are rarer though - I've only seen two here in UK, both in target rifle format. They were VERY nice to handle and shoot.

There really wasn’t much information with the add, 21.875” barrel, single shot, not much more. It does say "adjustable trigger". It really doesn’t really matter, but out of curiosity I’d love to know a model number and approximate dates of manufacture.
