Ive got one of the last HW45s they made with the original iron sights versus the new fiber optic ones.
I would agree with what AP typed about the quality and chrony results im really impressed with mine and dont see much reason to get rid of it.
The weight is about the same as a 1911 which is what the grip is modled after and it will accept any 1911 grip panels.
It is a classic pistol with a simple design that im sure will be around for a long time and there are lots of parts available if needed.
The HW 45 isnt a target pistol by anymeans but it is enjoyable to shoot and i get decent accuracy out to 30 yards shooting cans in the yard and even
get good results as a close pest control gun. Im sure you will be happy with one.
