Weird jungle no5 serial number.....????

Hello!
I'm getting more and more into milsurps and I found a all matching No5 jungle dated 8/1946 rof (F) that had a one digit and one number serial number...

What's this???

Any infos would be greatly appreciated!

Just a low serial number of the particular letter prefix series. Interesting and not usually seen.

The lowest I have seen is a letter and 3 digits. They had to start somewhere with the serial numbers. LOL Nice find.

Likely an early production before they worked the bugs out. You'd best sell it to me.

It's weird that a 1946 dated could be on early serial number sequence, as 1946 should be near the end of the production of the no 5.
