For starters, I have wanted for a number of years now to build myself an original m-40a1. Tonight I finally started to sit down and look at what I need and the first thing I noticed was the old redfield accurange scope. A year ago I bought a BLR unfired and virtually new in box circa 1970. It had a scope on it, but nothing all that impressive as far as I could tell, scope still has/had original manufacturers stickers on it. When I saw that spec for the redfield scope I figured it looked pretty damn close to the one I had now moved to my .22. Now I am wondering if the scope I thought I would be looking for for ages is sitting on my .22 collecting dust, could you guys in your infinite cyber-wisdom set me straight here if I am wrong?
