weird question

I hit a nice buck with my truck a week or so ago. Altho I knocked his antlers off I recovered them one on the road one in my grill. My question is since he was in velvet is there away to preserve the antlers. I wish to have them mounted holding my grille and license plate. Sortof a way of my saying you messed up my truck but now your on my wall. They're in the freezer as of now

They can be. You'll need to inject them with a solution to preserve them. Contact a local taxidermist.

Put them in the freezer ASAP as they go bad quickly since they are full of blood vessels.

That or find a taxidermist that does the freeze dried method and he can take care of them also.

It's easy to do but yes they have to be injected or freeze dried... Any taxidermist should have the chemicals to inject.

Years ago. I think it was formaldehyde that they used to inject into the horns.
