hey guys, appears my google fu is weak today

can you help me find a DIY tutorial on welding the lifter for versa max - ideally with JB weld

You need to weld a piece of the same material as the carrier (lifter) into the forked end and lengthen it a bit just enough to clear the shells in the mag tube and the mag follower.

I don't think JB weld will work.

thanks TO:
any aftermarket drop ins that accomplish the same thing as welding/lengthening? maybe something you guys carry/could carry?

Saw a JB weld fix for another shotty, thought it could be done here, but likely not worth the time and effort for the outcome

We also have the carriers (lifters) from the Remington Versamax Competition but they are shorter and are not the best solution. We weld the stock carriers up and make them as long as possible so they work right and don't catch your fingers. A few other modifications are also in order to make the gun reliable.
