I did not wish to hijack an earlier thread about welding antique parts with this question.I found a Savage model 20 /.250 Savage with several plugged [screw]holes in the reciever from a caveman scope mt attempt.I know it has no value to a collector before or after the hack +patch but it has such nice clean lines I'm considering getting it to plink with.Has the cocking piece peep. What's it worth and who can weld it to refinish? Thanx Harold *** I hate finding bubba'ed classics

Larry Potterfield has a web site http://www.metacafe.com/tags/midwayusa/ Will show how to do all sorts of stuff. Like fixing holes in receivers with out welding. Looks amazing I plan to try this on a rifle that was messed up by " Bubba" :D, PS. Sounds like a good rifle. You could use the fact that Bubba messed with it to reduce the price. Jack
