Pro's pretty neat looking gun, fits great in the hand and a bit of a collectors piece.

Cons 20 pound trigger!!!

Ahh I couldnt resist, price was right.

I,m going to order my spring kit from Wolf and see what happens.

I test fired it as well a while ago I still managed some nice groups with it, its going to be my trigger finger workout unit. Kind of like a Bowflex for the hand.

Took some pics enjoy

The stock (with selector) was optional. :(

As for the price, look at the date in the picture.
Expires July 31, 1983 :( :(

Cool pistol.... Funny, when they first came out peopled loved 'em or hated 'em. Cutting edge of polymer frame technology of the day. Today, as polymer frame guns are gaining ground seems this old beast is a lot less controversial. Just a cool example of history in the development of the semi-auto in modern times.

They sure are different, I could have bought one for a really cheap price 20+ years ago when I was posted to Lahr, W. Germany but the "20 pound trigger" seemed too bad to me so I didn't buy it. The 10 round mag limit really sucks with this pistol as well, that eliminates one of it's best features.

Yes but at least with our magazine restrictions, gangbangers, drug dealers, bikers and your run of the mill psycho is limited in the number of people they can shoot as their magazines are limited to 10 rounds.

WTF was our government thinking when they wrote C-68?

Funny thing I think I might actually have an issue of guns and ammo laying around some where with that ad. Oh and you know they also made a few semi only guns with the stock(about 60). A buddy actually got to fondle or see one in his grey room tour for a course recently.

I'd sell a nut for one of those.

And thats it pretty nifty eh, takes like 4 seconds and the trigger give you fingers of steel. The old lady loves the gun for that alone.

No this is not a prohib, semi only and its barrel is just a snapper hair over the limit.

Hua! Where did you dig up that photo? Looks like original promo photo for Aliens. VP70Z sure looks ###y in that lighting. Guess the design was futuristic enough so as not to need any alterations, either.

You can get a spring that reduces the trigger pull in that gun, but i am not sure who makes it.

I almost bought one of those years back. I remember being not too sure about that "shadow effect" front sight (but I think Chuck Taylor liked the concept). How do you like the sight picture? It's a cool gun :) .

a company named wolff sells the springs which claims to reduce the pull from 6.5 to 5.5 pounds:(

the sights work great, even in subdued lighting, I mean its no STI but it groups fairly good when you learn the tricks. You see a prominent dark strip sunk into the silver of the exposed metal

I,m going to make a video the next time I go to the range and see how I do
