I couldn't help myself, I wanted another Sig P226 and I wanted it in stainless for some reason.
My newest toy. German made P226 X-Five All Around in 9mm.
I had considered buying one of the competition packages with the all around and 5 mags, holster etc, but just couldn't justify the extra $700 in price. The only difference in the guns themselves are there are no Exeter stamps on the ones in the kit, and the mags are 2 piece, not pinned. I had considered a X-Five Comp, but the guy at the store couldn't explain to me the reasoning between the 9mm being $2500 and the .40 being $2100, so no go for me.
My first impression was that I was just going to end up with a bigger P226 in stainless, boy was I wrong. So far without shooting it I do know the one thing I will need for it will be to see if the short triggers and SRT kit will work on the All Around.
Without delay, shiny pictures.
