I was in Canadian Tire today and as usual I have a habit of taking a walk through the sporting section.
They've been selling firearms again for awhile and I've been eyeing the SKS's in their rack.
Today I spied a 91/30 and above it was a SVT40...holy !
I asked f they have ammo for the 91/30 and guess what... the lady said they have all kinds and its the same ammo as the SKS .
I tried to correct the nice lady but she looked at me like ...well...
Anyhow, it's good to see firearms back in CT.

I've noticed in several stores that alot of the SKS Carbines are mismarked/mispriced. Hardwood stock SKS are tagged at $179.99 and Laminate stocks at $199.99, but half of the tags are on the wrong rifles, picked up a 1950 Tula laminate stock for $179.99 in real nice shape, also some Izshevsk mixed in with the Tulas. Some of the guns are in nice shape, some are not so much so as far as cosmetic appearances go.
