First up was a yote...........called him Lucky.
He's that blurr in the middle of the photo under that barb wire knot
at the top of the grass.

This is a gewfie little puddle in as such that the color of the water is rusty.
The trout take awn the same color.

Center of the photo, just below the line between earth and sky is a round white thing.
It's a muley doe's arse. Actually, there is/wuzz two there.

She had me twitch'n as she was a bigg'un.
Finally raized her head and sported no pointy thangs............I wuzz ready fer the ka-pow,
but she wernt.

Looks like some kind of breccia (rock with fragments). Wetting down the rock before you take the photo makes it easier to see minerals and textures Kammy.

Those mushrooms look like boletus family. They have round tubes, no gills. So as long as they don't turn blue when you break them they are good to eat if not full of blowfly eggs/larvae. Please pick these only if you are sure that they are boletus.

My goodness that cow moose has a long dewlap!! Most moose up here have modest ones, if any at all.

I was out trying to find a legal moose on the weekend, but the moose would not cooperate. Saw a Bull.....but too big to shoot here.[two points or less on one side allowed]

Also saw a few muleys, but the buck was a spike, so let him walk.

Yeah that yote having a napperewskie is just fine by me.
Have yet to see one this fall in an area where they can be shot, but they do try and cross the hwy from time to time coming/going to/from work ;)
Played peekaboo with a cow moose last fall ...she was trying to hide behind a beetle killed pine tree..that was pretty funny .
Does that lil lake get much trout fishing pressure looky?

Been by it three times.
Once for fishing and the fish were not very big.
That day we caught a few and released them.
Just couldn't get an appetite for them.
Hard to get in there as the road is very narrow.
Slightly wider than a SxS.
Ole Zuke had to suck in her breath........... :D
If there ever wuz a day to bring a chain saw, that was it.
The road ternt into a trail and I didn't have an opportunity to tern round.
Sucked it in and continued.
Came owt the other end and it opened up.
Phewwwww.
That neck of the planet not a soul wuzz owt there.........jest fine wid me...... :wave:

Loving the pics and the stories to go long with them. Gotta take some shots of my area up north next time I'm out to share here with you fellas. How's the fur looking on the yote that is if you keep them?
