I have an M1D just dying to have that big old cone type flash hider put on it the three prong does not turn my fancy. Who has them and what are they running for? Also is this a slip on with set screws or would the rifle have to be modified.

These are a pretty pricy item. A google search didn't seem to turn much up.

I agree, I'd want one too if I had an M1D.

They were made for the M1C too. They go on the bayonet lug. No changes to the rifle at all. Haven't seen one for years though.

450.00 bones

your killing me are you serious? At bits and pieces rate my rig should be considered a 649 jackpot. Anyone make a repro?

There used to be many replica Hart cone-type M2 flash hiders around for around $100. The pronged T-37 ones are still available for around US$50 or so. I haven't seen any M2s around for a while, but I remember seeing lots of fakes on the Danish-sourced M1Ds that were in gun shops ten years ago.

Cheers,

PS. found repro M2 here: northridgeinc.com
