The West Indies Full Bore Shooting Council has once again extended an invitation to the DCRA to participate in their Full Bore Rifle Championship Matches.
The match this year will be hosted by the Guyana Rifle Association from Oct 21-Oct 26, 2024.
Oct 21 will be a practice date. Oct 22-24 WI Individual Championships
Oct 25, WI Long Range team match, Oct, 26,WI Short range team match.
Oct 26, Championship Presentation.

Entry fees are $550 USD and team matches are $500 per team match. Ammo is included and the GRA has secured GGG ammo for this competition.

This is a Target Rifle only event, .308 target rifle with iron sights, shot in pairs on Shot Marker electronic targets. Target dimensions are ICFRA targets.

Depending on flights it is desirable to fly to Guyana a few days before the match and try to get back out either on the Sunday or Monday after the match. More details to follow for those that may be interested.

You do not have to be a Master Class shooter to attend, and this is a perfect opportunity to get a relaxed international team experience.

Day 1 events: Oct 22, Opening Ceremony, 2&7 @300 yards, 2&10 @500 yards and 2&10 at 600 yards.
Day 2 events Oct 23, 2&10 @300 yards, 2&7 @500 and 2&7 @600 yards.
Day 3 events Oct 24, 2&10 @900 yards, 2&10 at 900 yards and 2&10 @1000yards.
Day 4 events, Oct 25, Milex-Crown Mining Long Range Team Match. Coached team match of 8 shooters. 2&10 @900 and 1000 Yards
Day 5 events, Oct 26, WIFBSC Short Range Team Match. Coaches team match of 8 shooters. 2&10 at 300 yards,500 yards and 600 yards.

Due to a World Cricket event in Guyana the WIFBSC has been postponed to one week later. Now starting Oct 27, 2024.
If you have been on an International team or if you are looking for your first International Team experience, this a relaxed team experience that I am sure you will enjoy. So far teams form the US, Ireland, Canada, Barbados, Jamaica, Antigua and Trinidad have committed.
