Well I would not believe it until I seen it but I walked out the door at the River Cree yesterday morning and theres a coyote walking across the lawn towards a aspen thicket. Had to drive to spruce grove and there is yotes out in fields, and tracks everywhere. Any rock , stump, tuff of grass out in fields have been marked by god knows how many yotes.

I have never seen yotes like this in my life. There is No comparison to Ontario here and the hunting is not even close. We darn well work for our coyotes to find them let alone calling them in. I'm sure surprised and am also going Nutz that I can not hunt them out here.

I have to say you western guys sure have it lucky ! now I can see why you can have photos of 3-4-6 yotes in a pic.

Its got to be a fun place to hunt them here :p

The winter of 2007 (only 1 1/2 months) I killed exactly 65 coyotes (it was more like killing than hunting) with a CZ 527 chambered for the 223. They were running rampid in the area that I hunt deer and birds. Well, long story short, I only put a dint in the population. Feed lots, farmers, ranchers love guys to hunt coyotes, therefore permission is not a problem. You should make a trip to Alberta in the winter and hunt them for a week. December, January and February are the best months for their fur.
