Happy on the farm, plan on leaving feet first.
I'm asking as a non resident, would have to be through an outfitter I would think. Can't find a map of outifitters, just wondering if there are turkey seasons in W. Ont, close to the MB border before I wade through outfitter sites to find one close enough to drive to.

No non resident in MB, I could go S but would rather spend my money Canada, thanks. Alternately if anyone could recommend an Ont. outfitter that'd be great.

Got drawn for turkey once in AB, just a wonderful spring hunt. Not sure if I'll live long enough to get drawn again, the P keeps climbing every year, sooo....
 
Turkey fall under "small game" in Ontario, so would require a non-resident small game licence AND a Turkey Licence (tag).

Non-Residents do NOT require a guide to hunt small game in Ontario or even Big Game in many of our Wildlife Management Units (WMU's) - although there are a few, in North Western Ontario that do require guides for big game.

Having said that, nothing would obviously prevent you from using an outfitter. I live in Turkey Country (South Eastern Ontario) and have to say, while there is outfitters that are set up for many species I can say I have never seen an advertisement for Turkey (maybe just never looked to hard, but not listed on the ads for cabins/outfitters that I tend to frequent).
 
There is one outfitter in my area that does turkey I know of. $400 a day, guaranteed to get a shot at a bird. Heard they got over a 100 this past spring.
 
If you consider coming as far as 36 the turkeys are plentiful here... they just started letting us hunt turkeys one the main land (mwu 36)in the last couple years... before that you'd have to hunt 45 which is st Joseph island and there is basically no crown to hunt on, so unless you live on, own property or know someone with property you were out of luck previously.. luckily I know a couple people on the island with a few couple hundred acre lots and there is an insane amount of turkeys on the island
