Hello all, new member of the gun nutz club here from North Vancouver BC. Looking for suggestions on guns for grouse. I’d like to pick up a .22 and a 410 for hunting them. I have owned a Remington 597 and a mossberg 183 410 (should have never sold them) but wondering what others would recommend. Don’t have endless money to spend on guns so on a bit of a budget.

To answer your Original Post (OP) I have had a couple solutions- one was a .22 Magnum "Badger" - probably best for you is 22 Long Rifle over 20 gauge Savage 24 that is here - I think there was similar - Savage 42 in 22 LR over .410 - is partially about what you can afford for ammunition to feed it - smaller is not always cheaper - eg. 20 gauge versus 28 gauge versus .410.
