Hello to all you, cordite loving, projectile throwing trigger tickling, shooters in gunnutz land!!

A friend of mine turned me onto this site tonight...I looked and signed up ASAP.

I live on a big acreage in the middle of BC with lots of wild life including tons o' bears so carrying is part and parcel of my "rural lifestyle".

My love of guns was actually fostered years ago in the Trudeau era. I was a member of 2PPCLI based in Winnipeg. Funny how the gov't taught me how to shoot 'em and how all hell would break loose if you let anyone try to take your weapon from your hands. What a joke that it was also a Liberal gov't that, years later tried their damnest to take all of our guns away!!??!!

I am looking forward to making some new acquaintances and learning more about the current state of the gun control situation. I have already found a pistol I NEED to POSSESS on this fantastic site!! (there is a S&W .38 snubbie with MY NAME on it :).

I am also looking to learn more about concealed carry in selected US states.

Take care and keep your powder dry!

Welcome Mat Is Out Stimpy!

A Big Welcome to CGN. You will have Fun and find lots of Friends here. What is your snub gun pick? A S&W Model 37 or a S&W 19 that are going for some great prices currently?

Thanks for the welcome. The snubbie i'm looking at is CanAm's s & w model 64...yum yum!!

I have a number of high calibre pistols and revolvers but I really love my pocket and other small pistols. I have a walther ppk 7.65mm, a basque .380, and even a little Jennings .22 saturday night special. If I can get that lovely snubbie, that will be my first small revolver.

I am totally disgusted with the current firearms legislation and the silly distinctions i.e. 12*prohib status. But, while I have the 12(6), I believe it is my solemn %^**# DUTY to get as many prohibited firearms as I can. I believe we all need to own as many firearms as we can afford because the more firearms there are in the hands of real citizens the better our cause will be.

The funny thing is for me that I probably would not have gone on such a buying frenzy if it weren't for the crazy gun control fanatics. Thanks to them, I got nervous, and when I get nervous, I buy more guns:) because the way I see it, it is harder to strip us of our private property than it is to just cancel the legal flow of firearms.

If they had an outright ban on all handguns and I had none, then I would have nothing.

Welcome >>>> I'm very envious of your bear "situation"!! I really want to harvest one with my muzzleloader!! It's good to see attitudes(like yours and mine) that demand our right to own and use sacred firearms of all types!!
