What a nice set up for Ranch Hands & Mares Legs !!

She ain't no revolver, but it can be holstered and it is legal to carry through the bush. The nice thing is it is quiet, so whilst hunting for deer i can take grouse and pesky squirrels in near silence.

The land of the free(er)... :)

As has been noted above, this option depends on your provincial hunting regs. While it has been technically legal in Alberta as far as I can remember, AB just specifically wrote air pistols as permissible into the hunting regs in the last year or two. For those new to the concept, in order to not be classified as a firearm, the air pistol has to be below 500fps actual muzzle velocity, as well as below a specific foot-pound-equivalent energy cutoff (can't remember that number off hand). Many of the quality air pistols can accidentally exceed these limits (due to overpumping and/or customization).

I find that a 22 rifle loaded with CB or CCI Quiet makes less noise than my pellet pistol.
