I was perusing the latest ad from a popular Canadian retailer, and see Eley Club and Eley Match with the familiar green and script logo of Remington. Come again? Who owns who? Big Green went out of business a while ago. Is it licencing its name for market effect? 1768744441094.png

I would explain the presence of the Remington name as due to the age of this ammo. It might be old stock, manufactured before they went defunct recently.

I think it was a way past the US import laws.
Like Benelli or Glock having to have a US location. Im assuming Remington was the importer.
I had one rifle that really liked their Match EPS. Was cheaper than Eley 10x and almost as good.

I forget the history of why Eley made ammo with Remington branding, but it was the best lot of Eley Match I've ever purchased. Might be worth a try.

The Remington Eley Match box shown by the OP is Eley Match ammo that's been rebranded as Remington Eley. The rebranding partnership included Remington Eley Club and Remington Eley Target and perhaps others.

It's not clear when the Remington-Eley rebranding relationship existed. In 2016 it had been underway for about decade, perhaps more. When it ended is not known but it isn't a thing now.

Rebranding .22LR ammo is not uncommon. For example, in the US Wolf Match Extra and Match Target .22LR ammo used to be rebranded SK. Now similar Wolf ammo is made by Eley.

Remington ammo was sold to Federal. But then Federal was sold to Czechoslovak Group along with CCI and Speer. They also own Hevi-Shot, Fiocchi, and even Perazzi shotguns. If I had to guess, that ammo is likely old stock. Who knows where they got it from. Perhaps an estate.
