what AR barrel to choose need help

all right I am looking at 2 barrels one is a Reiner arms mountain series CHF chrome lined and the other is the Aero precision with the QPQ process

just wondering if the QPQ process would be just as hard as Chrome. or what the longevity of the QPQ would be vs Chrome any thought's or help would be great

Reading their FAQ's shows QPQ is a Nitriding process. So yes, it will be tougher/last longer than chrome.

However, the mountain series have M249 spec chrome lining (appx. 2 times as thick as normal chrome lining).

So I guess.... choose the least expensive?

Thanks. I am not new to ar's always used a chrome barrel just seen th qpq as interesting just didn't know much about it.
