I guess technically shouldnt the tavor be considered a gold rifle? It is Jewish made after all.

I could be wrong but I think it may have to to with the process of anodizing of Aluminium .To get a type 3 hard coat anodizing finish on aluminium you have your choice of colours Black, green or clear??
I just bought a XLR aluminum chassis for my tikka tac . I had my choice of colours as long as they were Black or Green .
( I ordered black )
