Dad had one back in Colorado in the 80's and has a fetish on M1 carbines. His last birthday I scored a local deal for dirt cheap. I'm in Alberta, father is in NB and he is blind as a bat. Basically the rear peephole fell off at the range and there is no way he could find the pieces on the ground with his eye sight that shot.
Just wondering how rare are these, and is there any chance I could find a complete rear sight we could just replace it with?
If I have no luck I might save my cash and buy him a real Rock-Ola. get what you pay for I guess...
