What are my options: Folding stock for a 10/22 with .92" bbl?

I have a 10/22 with a carbon fiber bull barrel. Right now I just have it in a butler creek synthetic stock. I want to put it into a folder simply so it takes up less space when transporting.

Are there perhaps some options out there that I know about or some that are easier to modify from a std bbl channel than others?

I bought an ATi

and I don't understand the fuss.

I relieved it for my .92 8 inch dlask and it's running better than expected.

I did that thing where you take a dowel and sandpaper and channel out the middle.

I'm super surprised how accurate this gun is with the 8 inch.

It was some work, and it's not a fancy store bought kit, but it's working great for me and all my friends who get to shoot such a neat gun.

The reason I went with ATI is I wanted 26.5 inches, and no folding. I glued my ATI at length/no folding. It's the shortest legal NR possible.

I just want to be able to fit the rifle in a shorter bag as I will be taking the rifle to work a lot and walking through town. I'd rather tuck it into a larget backpack if I can. Yes a takedown would be much better suited but I'm not about to go buy a whole other rifle just for that little fact.

Right now it isn't too bad but I want shorter for transporting, I even stopped at the grocery store the other day with the rifle in a larger duffel bag (it is Yellowknife after all and not Moronto)

Am 8 or 10 inch barrel is alot more fun then a crappy folding stock. ;)

Having used a BC folder quite a bit, I can tell you it is not the most comfortable cheek weld, and honestly I think it is ugly as hell.

A paracord wrap is a must with the BC stock.

I like my bc folder, but I've been thinking for the last 5 years that I would like a shorter barrel & a fixed stock.
I would go with a BC or Choate folding stock, but as mentioned, still going to have to do some sanding.

Yea I can't agree more on the ugliness of the BC folder but it does he job. I have plenty of Paracord, will have to do something with the metal.

Overall length is the same or slightly less with a short barrel and fixed stock. I tend to agree with you.
