Everything is complicated anymore.
Get the regulations, either hard copy or the net, and study it.

Closed season July 1st - August 31st. rest of the year NBL

That completely depends on where you are. I haven't checked the regs for south eastern BC yet this year, but I know last year coyote was closed most of the year there.

You have to check the regs. It's different throughout the province.

Step 1 - Get the regs. Online or hard copy.
Step 2 - Decide what region you want to hunt in.
Step 3 - Read the open dates for the region at the start of the region chapter.

Anywhere specific you are thinking of going and can't figure out the dates?

The regulations have the seasons for every region in BC and very clearly show when and where you may hunt coyote.

For instance, Victoria is in Region 1. There is no coyote season in Region 1. Reg 2 season is Sept 10-June 15. Reg 3 season runs Sept 1-Mar 31 or June 15, depending on which MU...and so on and so on.....

Not sure why you are having trouble finding this information.

thanks but like my first post stated not enough information on the subject in the "regs"

Just go by what is in the synopsis of the regulations, the little book we get, and you can't go wrong.
Check the area that you are in and that is it.
