What are SVT 40s like on brass?

I was wondering what SVT 40 rifles are like on brass. Do they mutilate them quite badly for reloading?

Yeah, pretty much. That doesn't mean you cant reload them, they just have reduced life.

Ehhhhh, you get used to it. My m1 mashes quite a few and then there are the ones you will never find. :/

they are reload able but they will have ridges on the cases from the chamber.

Try this company, they make an adjustable gas port for Garands, that would help control brass distribution on firing. It looks simple enought to make if you have a lath.
