Hi folk I am wondering if TNA can make a Canadian Tactical lower handguard for the T81 rifles? Just install like the OEM one with one screw on the bottom. Would be great to add light and foregrip.

I did a quick photoshop of the idea......Something like this would be awesome

Please TNA, we need it. I know so many people who would be snatching these up for their rifles, we’ve all been coping with 3D printed janky things or bubba’d AK rails.

This was sighted in a chinese arms show in 2018 but never seen any of it again, having these mods for our rifles would be amazing!

Does TNA even make anything currently beyond a few 3D printed objects? I know a lot of items are listed as "TNA" on their site, but a lot of them are "White label" made in China things that they just put their name on.

they at least get stuff made for them, not sure if they make it themselves

for sure they seem to have some proprietary uppers, barrel brakes/compensators/faux silencers etc

also in for a rail

Id be more interested in a version that would extend out to the gas block for a more conventional grip on the rifle, sort of like the magpul zhukov handguard, but aluminum and with mlok. But agree with OP it should mount in a fashion that wouldn't require any crazy modifications.

yes ^

Some VZ58 furniture works. The lower handguard is easy and any polymer one should work with a little bit of shaving/dremel work. I had luck with the fab defense ones. The upper handguard requires significantly more work because the T81 top handguard length is way longer that the VZ58.
