What are the legal issues with an m1 carbine----restricted?

no change to its classification yet so its just like selling any other restricted

however is seems the restricted class is getting smaller and smaller every time the liberals need a distraction

I sold my other M1 Carbine back in December 2019 and I thought that I would hang on to this one for a while.

Are these with 18.5" barrel restricted?
Or like everything else it seems are they prohibited now?

The original m1 has a 18" or so barrel, not quite long enough to be non-restricted. NR versions exist that have been re-barreled though. None are prohib that I am aware of.

The M1 carbine is WHY NR barrel length was set at 18.5". The FLQ purchased and used a number of M1 Carbines during their crimes, and this brought the Carbine squarely in the crosshairs of the Government.

there are a lot of M1 carbines in Canada
they all came here because they could not go to America, our dollar used to be worth a lot then

That, plus the drive by shoot up of the CLEU building in Vancouver back then by gang members using an M2 select fire carbine.
