What Are The Rules Concerning BB Guns At A Campground?

I know campgrounds vary, but how about a quasi-remote, outhouse and no shower kinda deal?

I've never actually owned a pellet gun, but started developing an interest when I held a nice chrome revolver at a fair kiosk awhile ago. Was kind of amazed how realistic it felt. The guys from work are going camping next month and it occurs to me that shooting the proverbial cans might be fun. Obviously I can't do it with my real pistols, so maybe that pellet gun is worth picking up.

What's the consensus? Is it frowned on?
 
We were at a forestry campground last year, there were 2 other campers in larger rvs, we were in camper, I went over and met the other campers and asked if they cared if we plinked with our Dianas. They were just fine with it so we had a fun shoot. At busy provincial campgrounds I wouldnt discharge anything other than a fart.
 
Would probably depend on the campground and site... But the answer is probably no. Provincial parks are not very private and those BB pistols look real. Someone would most like call the police I would imagine. Now backwoods camping is another story... Or even a private campground with more space and fewer rules?

I would be flying into your face if you were ricocheting BB's off my new trailer or my truck! I will throw rocks back at your tent when you are sleeping in it! LOL
 
Liberal snowflakes go camping too. They won't know the difference between your BB gun and a real one. They won't bother asking you since you're a big scary man with a gun. They'll just phone the police straight up on you. They'll probably say your assault rifle machine gun doesn't make a lot of noise so it must have a silencer on it. They'll be even more scared if your BB gun has the shoulder thing that goes up on it.
 
I was in a campground and a fellow in a blue jacket stopped by and said he was the local law, and was checking if we were over the amount of liquor allowed in the campground. I guess we were over by a case of beer that I surrendered to him. I asked him about rifles in the campground. He assured me that it was not appropriate to be plinking within the campground, unless I saw something in the trees at night. He told me the week before a guy shot in the dark at some bushes near his campsite. In the morning when they checked it turned out this fellow had killed a bear saving a small child and his mama sleeping in a tent nearby. They were having a ceremony for this guy at the end of the month. As he took my case of beer and walked away he said, "wait till night then blast away, just say you saw something in the bushes."
