For sure, they look intriguing! Likely scope bases of some sort - looks like most have a pair of lugs to accept a recoil bar from rings that would go with them? Any idea what is the width of that dovetail - can you eye-ball from end and guesstimate whether those were 45 degree or 60 degree corners on the dovetails - USA makers tended to go 45 degree - I think Europe tended to 60 degrees. If from European source, the dovetail width would be in millimetres - across the top flat? Would think those are various for various rifle models, but would all accept a common ring? Since all appear to have what I think is scope mount area NOT over the mounting screws - as if all were cantilever or "extension" bases??

I do not know when rifle and scope base makers "standardized" the hole spacing? From a Weaver chart, looks like .504" and .860" were pretty standard - C-to-C - although there were other dimensions as well...

They are vintage Redfield JR scope mounts. I am not exactly sure when they were discontinued. I still had a few in my shop in the mid 70s but I believe they were discontinued by then.
