what are these

a friend found these in an old dresser she is not sure if they were her father's or grandfather's. Whatdo these mean and what war? They are most likely US. second WW or Korea. Any info would be appreciated.

Third from the top looks like the British WW2 Italy Star, although the center stripe appears a bit narrow.

Try checking the Orders and Medal Society Of America (OMSA) database for the rest. Or wait till someone else replies.

Since you're in Southampton you might have better luck perusing UK medals and ribbons.

I looked for fun and couldn't identify ANY of them. You would probably have a great deal better luck going down to your local legion or antique store and asking there!

I'm in Florida for the winter and this is where the ribbons were found.

Second one down looks like a US Distinguished Service Cross ribbon bar. It's second only to the Medal of Honor in the US awards system.

Top to bottom these are all US medals for Junior Navy ROTC (high school level cadets)
