Dad bought these 99C's in the early 80's. He scoped them, shot them a bit and put them into his gun cabinet.
I inherited these, and frankly, they've been sitting in my safe too.

One is a .308, wearing a vintage Redfield 3X9 with the "rangefinder" and BDC. The other is a .243, wearing Weaver mounts and a Chinese Scope.
The .243 is missing the rear sight.

$500-$550 for the 308

The 243 should fetch a bit more being somewhat of a harder to find kritter.
How much more?
I'd guess in the $650 or so range.
Now iff'in it t'wuzz a 7mm-08 yewd have the Krazy Pewch howler furr madd.

I was about 16 or 17 when he showed them to me. I was hoping that one of them was in .358.

I hear ya. I've got a similar in .308 from the parents, I've entertained the notion of having it rebored to .358 and making it a takedown, but that ties up money that I would get more return out of put into other projects. I'd love to build one with a stock similar to the full length "international" stock on the winchester 88 in that other thread.

Tradex had some cheap green mountain barrels on their website, i wish they were bringing in .358 bored barrels as well, though after all the gunsmithing costs probably wouldn't be any cheaper.
