What Are You Shooting in Your M&P9?

I am not surprised. I doubt it had anything to do with your shooting ability.

I think it is awlful ammo from a reputable maker.

I have fired about a case and a half of the 147gr Ranger JHP, but primarily thru my Mk III Browning P35 and my G19. It shot "OK" in them but no better (or worse really) than most other loads - the 127gr +P+ JHP mentioned above shot better all-round than the 147gr load. I saved some of each to try in my new P7 PSP - hopefully next week,,, ; - )

Blake it is the FMJ Ranger ammo I was referring to. If you try some bench rest it at 15 yards and see how it shoots. OUt of my M&P and CZ's it was all over the target from a very steady rest.

I went through 2 boxes (Winchester ranger 147gr.) the other day during the CGN youth shoot and was NOT impressed. I am still a new shooter but it sprayed everywhere......I liked the 124 gr. Brass Blazers MUCH better and they grouped much better. It goes to show you paying for more expensive ammo doesn't always mean its any better.

Roger that - all the stuff I have is 147gr Ranger SXT and it seems to shoot good enough to hit 8" plates at 25m. I have no experience with the FMJ version. I will find a small amount and try it out...
