So I know there's a lot to be said for optics on black rifles, but I still really enjoy shooting with irons. I've been using the sights that came with my Tavor (not the integral ones), and I find them a bit chunky. It's time to get with the program with a decent optic and some awesome folding sights. I've already picked an optic, that topics been beaten twice to death I know.

So then, what are your favourites, and why? Would you recommend them for a Tavor?

I'm not a dedicated irons shooter, they're strictly on my rifles as a redundancy. That being said, I really like the Troy flip ups, specifically the HK front with a DOA rear as the acquisition is impeccably quick. I can't speak for their accuracy over others.

I'm also looking into trying the newer Magpul pro offsets on one of my AR's that runs a hard mounted 2.5-10x scope, and my initial response would be poSitive. They seem to be good construction, and positive adjustments.

Other than that, I'd say KAC is still the reigning king for quality flip irons.
For non flip, I'd probably only choose the Daniel defence ones.

Magpul pro or micro. What ever they are called look nice and small,

The KAC micros are nice looking as well.

I have magpul mbus, no name ones, and two sets of Troys. Troy is pretty well known to be the standard.

Magpul Pro.....steel, small, low profile and no tool adjustment. I like them much better than Troy ones I've had in the past.
