What are your thoughts on a 10.3in PS90?

Negatives: 5 round magazines. Expensive+hard to get ammunition. Awkward mag changes. Low powered cartridge. No games to play with it.

Positives: Looks really cool, will definitely draw a crowd at the range

What enefgee said, plus it is an absolute hoot to shoot. I blasted away with one with a full capacity magazine in Minnesota. It is a shame they can't hold 50 here.

Really cool looking, shame its only 5rd capacity, and a funny caliber. I would be scared about finding food to feed it and the cost of it

Im dying to buy some kind of 9mm or .40 SMG style gun. I love my KRISS vector and would love something similar in a 9mm with 10rd capacity. If this was a 9mm Id be really interested in one

The Gen 2 Vector is available in 9mm. Also IRG has some 9mm AR's pretty well priced.

Yes but when can you actually buy the KRISS in 9mm? I don't even think they are available in the U.S. Yet? It was supposed to be a 2015 product but it's almost over lol
Funny thing I actually posted in the Canadian distributors section on here before posting in this thread asking if they have any idea when it will be available, will see if I get a response
If it was available I'd buy one now

Trying to stay away from AR in 9mm the one I want is 9mm specific lower made by quarter circle 10 and uses glock mags. So it's a proper 10 rounder like my KRISS is in .45 I'd have to import that lower and it would be an expensive build. And made from different mix of parts may not operate 100% right out of the gate. Not interested in anything that uses the colt mags pinned to 5 and not a fan of the JR's

So I'm kinda holding out for either a 9mm KRISS to be available in Canada, or wait who knows how long for the Sig Mpx to be hopefully approved for canada. Or even the new CZ scorpion and do the SBR stock mod, but again that could be 2 years before its approved or even denied for canada
Ideally I like something that runs glock mags like my KRISS in .45 it's perfect cause I already have lots of glock mags and they are a proper 10 rounds weather the gun is registered as a rifle or pistol doesn't matter

I'm not holding my breath though I ordered something for my KRISS was told 2 weeks now I'm going on 3 months plus wait LOL it was hard just to find the KRISS in stock in 5.5" everywhere had stock on the non restricted only

I would happily own one, but never will. I liked what I saw when I played with one. However it is at the bottom of my buy list. Its not practical for much in Canada. But it would be a fun range toy if you have lots if cash to waste wich I don't.

I wish I could hold one, I can talk trash about it online all I want but truth be told if I walked into a store and they had the shorter version in stock on the shelf Id probably have a hard time putting it down and leaving it there lol

I was out shooting mine literally today (with my fresh Harron barrel). I can say it is even better then it was before with the bit of extra length. The ps90 is a joy to shoot and I can say nothing bad about it. Bottom line is simple, if you are buying exotic euro rifles you have to deal with the issues of keeping one. Gun cost and ammo in this case is a big one, but it is a very unique experience just like the FiveseveN.

Regarding your original question though, I would think the 10 inch barrel would greatly reduce the accuracy, but would look way cooler.

I mentioned this gun at my range and they actually had some ammo for it from FN in little white box, now if they only had the firearm to shoot it in stock....

My 10.3" barrelled PS90 was more accurate than the 16" barrel out to 100 yards.

I love mine and wouldn't trade it for anything else.
But the availability of ammunition is sucks, you'd have to reload stockpile hoard kind of thing.
