I bought a Berretta A390ST off a buddy a couple years ago. It came with 2 barrels. A 26” “waterfowl” barrel, and a 22” non-rifled barrel with sights is on top. It’s stamped...P.Berretta Made in Italy CL. Anyone know what the CL stands for? Thanks Willie

More than likely cylinder choke
Cheers

The rifling grooves on a slug are there to make it easy for the slug to squeeze down through a choke.

So try the barrel and see how it works with slugs.

Solid balls might not be safe in a full choke. Don't know about them.

Sure, why not?
The accuracy might not be what a rifled barrel might realize, but your not hog tied to not be able to shoot rifled slugs through the barrel.
Go shoot it and report back what your results are, cause someone else might be a better shot or not.

I finally shot it last week. Tried the Federal Tru-Ball 2-3/4, 1oz. rifled slugs to start. They kicked pretty good and accuracy was so-so. The “cheaper” Remington Sluggers were way more accurate for me, and softer shooting. I’ll stick with them.
