I think it was on HuntAmerica, so todbartell, JohnYCanuck and a coupdl of others may remmeber it....
This fellow from somewher ein the lower 48 had booked an Alaskan Guided Hunting trip, and he said that there woul be bears in the area (duh)
He was taking his *new* 338 Winchester Magnum with (at the time) State of the art Trophy Bonded Bear Claws to hutn with. (Sounds good)
He went on to state that they woudl be sleeping in tents, so he woudl be taking his 44 Magnum revolver for nighttime defense (not a bad idea)
Then he went on to ask "Woudl it be a good idea to pack along a defender shotgun for close range bear defense?"
