What can you tell me about my Enfield (Pics)

Hello everybody, recently picked up a new sporterized enfield, it's in pretty great condition and I plan on restoring it to it's original configuration. But first I figured I should try to learn more about it. Unfortunately my knowledge of enfields markings (despite my fondness for them) is pretty pathetic, so is there anything you can tell me about it based on these pictures.

Post a photo of what is stamped on the right side of the butt socket, under the bolt handle.
Barrel seems to have a 1943 date, and a C/l\ Canadian property mark.

I'd love to, but there is actually nothing stamped there. It's kind of odd that way.

Lets see both sides of the butt socket. Also, any markings on the knox form (the flat on the barrel at the receiver) A very low serial number ---pre 1910 ???

I recently bought 3 "sporterize" enfields...2 SMLEs and a No4 MK1. $100 each. Working condition. I was rather pleased until I saw the price of ammunition

Measure the barrel length. It looks like a no1 mk 3 but looks like the barrel was cut down

It's a No1 Mk3. Look on the left hand side of the receiver, there's probably marking's there. Probably FTR'ed

Last photo, the E under the crown (crown isn't stamped well) is the Enfield inspection and below it is a B under a crown which is Sparkbrook. On pic 1, I'm not sure anymore what it is, different sites give me different info...
