short action, intermediate cartridges?

the American has the option of the 6.5 Grendel, which I would be happy to see in the carbine, as it has just enough oomph to comfortably take a moose within 200 yards.

what else would you like to see? mebe with enough interest, Prophet River can request a custom run? :yingyang:  :yingyang:

Please a 308 win.

7.62x39 is pretty good for me. I really like my like CZ527 it comes to the range all the time. So far one of the favorite rifles. I like it so much I bought its big brother in 308 the CZ557... All CZ's take some breaking in but I really like the extra bulk of the 557. Once I get it rocking with a scope on the rail I'm thinking it will Challenge my 8mm for go to general purpose rifle. The only complaint with CZ's is the break in period. Any CZ I have had take a good 100-200 rounds to hone in and become truly accurate and well functioning firearms. The little 527 took 200 rounds before it shot strait and did its thing within an Inch time and again with any ammo loaded at 100m... Surplus Russian/Chinese reloads, S&B brass whatever its a little tank that just always works. I scares new shooters though they much prefer using the SKS for their first few centre fire rifle shots due to its small size and larger recoil. (for people moving up from 22lr, I don't have any .223 rifles can't hunt with em and the ammo is pricey or at least was compared to 7.62x39)
