What cold blue to use?

I've got a non-collector 1956 Winchester Model 94 that someone else took sandpaper to before I got it to get rust off I guess. The bore is great. It looked like a sewer pipe when I got it, but some thorough cleaning fixed that.

I just shot it on Thursday and it shoots like a house on fire, so I want to reblue the barrel and magazine tube.

I had good luck last year on an old Marlin 336 with a tube of Birchwood Casey Perma Blue, but that is nearly empty now.

I might just get more, but I was wondering if the G96 cold blue is any better?

I'd like to try Brownell's Oxypho, but have never seen it for sale in Vancouver.

G96 works quite well. Also Blue Wonder (particularly the black version) also works well although it is more expensive than G96.

Though it's a "not shipped" Wholesale has had it. Just don't tell them. It's the best. Iasked the same question, and that's the answer I got from some good gunsmiths.

Definitely, absolutely get OxphoBlue if at all possible. I have gotten it at Williams' Arms in Port Perry.
