It looks like coimmercial ammo is unavailable, and evenb if it were it'd be pricey.
Which powder/bullet combo's work for 7.5 French, assuming I buy proper brass?
WHo sells 7.5 French dies?

I'd like to be able to shoot a bunch of target loads and also use it as a big of a deer/bear carry gun.

Basically I need one light load so I can make 100 and shoot for fun, and then a harder hitting hunting load.

Is resizing brass easier? Which way is best with which brass?

You can buy Grafs 7.5x54 Headstamped brass from Dave Friesen www.bcredneck.com , sales@bcredneck.com, or simply run common 6.5x55 brass through the die.

Loads abound - you'll get a few to start you off with your Lee dies, or any of the powder websites will provide a few.

Everyone reccomends using .308 load data for reloading 7.5 French.
What if I bought a boz of 7.62NATO surplus with 147g bullets, pulled them apart and used the powder and bullets in a 7.5 French case?

If 7.5 French is generally a hotter load than .308, I dont see why this would cause a problem, it might be a cheap solution.
