Try contacting Remington Public Relations and see if they can help point you in the right direction. (Keep in mind that they have nothing to gain by doing this so, as they say, results may vary.)

I'd pay three big ones for one, so if anyone has one kicking around, I'm game. Anything more and ill just get a McMillan m40a1.

It is a Bell & Carlson Medalist Mountain Stock. They're about $250 USD new. They're very similar to the HS Precision stock that comes with the Remington 700 5r. I've had them both and prefer the HS stock. It has a beefier fore stock which works better for me when steadying my rifle for standing or kneeling shots.
You can pick up an HS stock on the EE for about $250 as Coyote mentioned on an earlier post.
Having said that... I would choose a Mcmillan stock every time if I could afford it :)
My 2 cents! Good luck!

I have a McMillan on my Timberwolf, love it, but a tad heavy for this build. Looking at either this stock, or a M24 style stock. Iv got a hardon for the 700P stock, but I cant find one in short action on EE, and im not buying one new, not enough $ at the moment.
