I know that these are made seperately for the OlyArms 9mm upper but I am unsure as to what company produces them...anyone?

Thanks for the info Mike

I checked their website and it says "directory listing denied" so I am assuming either that they arew out of business or their web provider wont allow any access outside the USA.

Hmmm

The other ones on the hahn website look pretty cool.

Does OlyArms still produce their 9mm upper?

I just made up half a dozen blocks that screw directly to the magazine and replace this adaptor. It works fine untill you lone it to your AR buddies who all hit the mag release and pour the works out onto the floor, usually indoors on a concrete range:rolleyes: , not that you could hurt sten mags. If you want I could make a couple up for you if your not in a hurry? I'll have to fiqure out how to post a pic of it.

Here's a pic of the block, then mounted, and in the rifle. I can't decide if I want to take it back off and shorten it up so It dosen't protrude from the mag well or not. So far the lazy option is winning,

I'm not the best photographer aparently, but you get the idea:redface:

I have an alternative for you. Check out snsindustries.com, they make a Colt style 2 piece block for Sten mags that works with Colt or Oly systems.

You will have to cut a slot in your mags for it to work with the standard AR mag release.

The nice thing about this system is that all of your IA drills remain the same, regardless of the caliber of the upper. As well, if you order the block with the ejector slot then if you ever switch to a Colt/RRA type of 9mm then all you have to do is install the ejector and you're ready to rock.

It is also one of the cheapest mag well adapters out on the market. I think that I paid $68 US shipped (w/ ejector slot, in the white). It looks to be well made but I never ended up using it because I couldn't find any cheap sten mags to try it out with.
