Hi Guys, Do you have the web adress of Bud Haynes, will like to take a look,
Yves
Both the catalogue with descriptions (no pics) and the realized values have been posted on the websitein PDF. Just a matter of matching up the lot numbers. Easy stuff. Curious: do the hardcopy catalogues you pick up in person or through mail delivery include pics?
Matt
I was there. The 2 barreled set went for $9000
The SRC went for $4500.the 45-90 for $3200,The 45-90 with the 28" barrel for $4400.The cut off 22" for $1800 and I think the 38-56 for $900.
FWIW the good Henry went for $37,000 and the Henry shells for $4,800

And the next question is, of course, what did you bring back?? Pocket's a little emptier now?
Curious: What kind of shape was the SRC in? Thought an SRC 86 might go for more.
Matt
I bought a pack of posters for $90, the FA Meanea gun rig for $1200 and the 405 TD for $1600.The 86 2 barreled set was a takedown but did not letter as a TD. I never really looked at the 86 SRC

Matt, it is not a TD like you think. There is a set screw on the left side of the receiver were the barrel screws into the receiver. The gun is in Madis 324-330 somewhere. Look for a 2 barreled set, 40-82 and 45-90Cool,
I bet the gun rig is nice. That's interesting the TD did not letter that way. Can't see how you could fake that though. Probably just not written in the ledger. Bet it was a nice gun though!

I totally forgot about reading that. Now that I've taken a look again, I know exactly what you mean. Don't see too many of those around. Didn't realize that same gun was in Madis' book either. I can see now your concern / what you were getting at when you said it didn't letter with this.

How was the 1885 Highwall Deluxe that went for $11,000?
