EDIT. The whole post is deleted. I did not ask about how long the process takes. I asked if I had the correct address. That's it.

You have some really strong emotions expressed over a piece of mail.

Many people find it helpful to return to their daily lives and be glad when the mail arrives on its own.

I can tell by how you write , there are some bigger issues here.

Example. It takes a month or more to get this application process done.

Is it a month?

It sounds like you mailed it a week ago. Wtf.

This is your own self made problem.

You looked on the internet and got some bad info.hmmmmmmm i have never heard of that.

What can you even do.

Call them? Make a big fuss?

See?

This is all in your head.

sounds like your problem is with Canada post. If your impatient now just wait until your application is received and you get to wait another 3 months....

I know the actual process is a long wait and I'm prepared for that. I guess I failed to make my point. That being, in spite of all my efforts to minimize delay, something else gets in the way. Murphy's Law. And in spite of your armchair psychology diagnosis, no I do not have "bigger issues". WTF? I'm just venting and in case you missed it, can not identify embellishment or just could not wait to jump on the keyboard, I did ask a specific question at the end.

Oh brother. Forget it. I guess I should have just used plain language and asked to confirm I had the correct address. Not interested in observations I did not ask for and am already fully aware of.

Send mine out very recently with their return envelope and had same PO box # and postal code.

Feel your "pain" since i'm in the same situation.

@ safety first: Waiting is just annoying, we just want to buy guns and go for some shooting so please keep your cool.

Maybe they c you stressing and are reevaluating your application. I just told myself if it doesnt come in 6 months ill bother them, well they want the money so they cashed in very quickly and the process took 2 months. Somethings you just need to let unfold man no point in stressing about #### you cant control.

^ This exactly. Awesome first reply. To the OP, try to be more patient and level headed and don't talk or act this way when they call you for your interview. I have a feeling it won't bode well for you.

*facepalm*I really can't understand why people are making this about patients (even after I clarified the intent of my post) and ignore my question. Knee jerk reaction or can only make it the first few sentences before you HAVE to say something. My application WAS lost in the mail somehow. They (the Post) finally found it and got it delivered only after me calling and chasing. I know what to expect now. I have no issues with patients now that screw ups outside my control are fixed. Got it? Please stop posting about my attitude and frustration because the above has nothing to do with what I meant. I guarantee it. My only frustration is dealt with. Jeesh. Please close this thread.
