I finally saved up $750 and am ready to by my first rifle. Although i wish I could save up for Tikka, I must stay within my budget. Need advice on what to buy. I am thinking Savage 111 in .270 with Weaver Kaspa 3-9×40. What do you think? Is there a better choice in that price range? Remingrlton 700, Ruger American, Mossberg Patriot?
