Dad had bought this years ago from Reid's Gun in Aylmer Ont. Not sure what it is. Measures .430 bore. The receiver has these markings; a crown with spandau, another crown with F W straddled with smaller crowns, two letters then Mod.71/84 and 1888. It is a bolt action repeater with a short tube mag. Has an English style stock with hand checkering where you would grip the gun behind the trigger guard. Too bad I cannot post pictures,
