When I was small I got given a single shot .22 to learn to shoot with. It is stamped HIAWATHA S-L-LR in faded letters and has no serial number to speak of. The bolt must be manually cocked before each shot. Does any one have any information on this rifle? I am not planning on selling it, I'm just curious about it's history. I'll see if I can get a pic from Midnight Skulker.

Thanks In Advance,

Nick

I asked the same question

I have one as well, and was told:
HIAWATHA
House brand for MacLeod's Limited of Winnipeg, Manitoba, for distribution to the retail markets in Western Canada. A friend recalls buying a single shot (Model 39 or 75) in Spirit River, Alberta, in 1958, which would indicate Cooey era production.
