does anyone here have any original 1940's-1960's lee enfield gun crates? i have been searching the internet and i only found like 2, im looking into building a couple but im not sure how exactly they were built. im looking for pictures on the inside, outside, any markings/names on them, how they were built, ext.

Here is a dimension set for the No.4mK.1T transit case. The hardware is difficult but not impossible to find, check fleebay. The regular transit case isn't as tall as the "T" case. I posted this to give you a basic idea.

I had to dig into the crate pile to pull these 3 samples out.

All are Canadian. The first one is for the Cno7 Enfield. It is kind of a lower version of the sniper chest. The second chest is a Canadian no15 chest, which is for the Cdn No4T sniper. The last chest is for 5 of the regular no4 rifles. It is a heavy chest. I also had another crate that held a dozen or so rifles, but it was Lithgow marked. Since it was not Canadian, I have it loaned out long term.

Thanks for posting the fiver, Sten. I've never seen one before.
I do own two of the low (standard) singles, though.
