You might be seeing the level of membership that a person bought on this website - I think some "titles" relate to how many posts that person has made - like "frequent flyer", etc. I am not sure that either "title" helps you to determine that person's "trustworthiness" other than understanding what the titles mean. So, yes, I had to pay to get the "UberSuperGunnutz title" - was not about what I did, or what I did not do - other than pay, when the notice showed up. There are choices that are made - some more benefits with various levels of membership that may or may not be "worth it" for some people. I have had decent luck going by the person's feedback number - not the number of posts or their title. It does help to read the feedbacks, and then to read the feedbacks of the persons leaving the feedbacks, and so on. FYI - the only time that I got "ripped off" on CGN was to an account that had in excess of 20,000 posts - a decent feedback number - many items listed for sale - but, in hindsight, it was apparent that someone else had taken over that account - it was not the original person that I lost money to.
